  13. I need some advice in the following.

  15. Imagen a setup with a PC running kermit, a standalone modem, a modem in a rack 
  16. and a cisco 2511 commserver - all configured for hardware FC - all connected 
  17. like:
  18.              telephone line

  20.     PC---Modem======================Modem---Commserver--> VAX

  23. I log in to a VAX and issue a - for instance - SHOW USERS /FULL command. Now 
  24. all output scrolls over my screen. 
  25.  
  26. The usual way to stop it from scrolling is enter a CNTRL-S and then a CNTRL-Q 
  27. to continue, but that is with Xon/Xoff flowcontrol. 
  28.  
  29. How can i get the same effect (immediate STOP and START scrolling) while using 
  30. *hardware* flowcontrol??
