- Hi,
-
- I need some advice in the following.
-
- Imagen a setup with a PC running kermit, a standalone modem, a modem in a rack
- and a cisco 2511 commserver - all configured for hardware FC - all connected
- like:
- telephone line
- |
- PC---Modem======================Modem---Commserver--> VAX
-
-
- I log in to a VAX and issue a - for instance - SHOW USERS /FULL command. Now
- all output scrolls over my screen.
-
- The usual way to stop it from scrolling is enter a CNTRL-S and then a CNTRL-Q
- to continue, but that is with Xon/Xoff flowcontrol.
-
- How can i get the same effect (immediate STOP and START scrolling) while using
- *hardware* flowcontrol??
-
- Thanks!
-
